Apparently, I still have pictures from June that I haven't posted (or maybe even earlier). So far behind...
At some point this season, the meadows were full of irises. The display was fairly spectacular, although I can't say I did the best job of capturing it. Oh well. You might be able to get some sort of an idea at least.
There were, of course, a variety of other flowers blooming at the same time, just not in the same quantities as the irises but with the occasional ridiculously small insect boasting very long antennae.
Oh, and then the woodland irises also started to pop up. Smaller and not quite as numerous but still lovely.
Wow, all of those iris, that must have been a beautiful sight. And the Snow Plant is beautiful!
